Sales – Sweden & Finland within the Commercial division of Icelandair is responsible for sales development, trade communication, and market status analysis for the Swedish and Finnish market. The team currently consists of three Account Managers and one Sales Manager who develop and deliver the spirit of Iceland within its network and beyond.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing account portfolio and proactively represent Icelandair within trade.

This is a home-based position, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort out of your own home.

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive preparations of contracts (incl. quotations) in close cooperation with Sales Manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Arrange agreements with existing agencies, TMC’s and corporate accounts with clear focus on revenue quality and growth of business.
  • Proactively manage account portfolio, organize agent visits and execute office presentations.
  • Coordinate the implementation of distribution solutions in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
  • Represent Icelandair at trade events and workshops.
  • Translation of marketing materials, website and newsletters etc.
  • Organize and lead FAM trips.
  • Act as lead for the Swedish market at bi-annual tradeshow in Iceland.
  • Monthly evaluation of account portfolio.
  • Act as spearhead for timely and effective distribution and collection of information to and from partners.

Qualifications:

  • Education fit for purpose
  • Experience in Account Management or equivalent trade and/or sales experience
  • Fluency in both English and Swedish (other Scandinavian language desirable)
  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce, Cognos (or other airline revenue tool) and Amadeus preferred
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • High problem-solving ability as well as strategic thinking
  • Strong teamwork ability
  • Willingness to travel
